Swinging to Mother of the Year

Adleigh got a swing for her birthday and she is officially a swinger!! We think that she gets the flutters in her tummy when we push her high because of the silly look on her face, but she loves it and wants more and more!! The only problem is that literally she could stay in the swing all day and night. Poor thing gets her feelings hurt when we take her out of it.

This is a book I got from my MIL for Mother's Day with different funny parent/grandparent stories. I have enjoyed each story and have had some great laughs. They call them Mother of the Year moments and the other day I could not think of a good story from my limited mommy experiences. Well it came and I definitely am a MOTY now. I was downstairs supposed to be keeping an eye on Adleigh bc TR had gone outside and I heard her walking with her lion toy (it sings when it is being moved) so I thought that I could get in some good blog catching up (stalking) and TR walks into the living room and asks where Adleigh is, I say she is with her lion and he says, "no she isn't, it is right at the foot of the stairs." Our little booger had climbed up the stairs and was heading into our bedroom!! She is way too mobile for innocent (dumb) mom so we now have barriers for everything. I have to jump from the third stair over a gate now! Adleigh, dear, you are growing up too fast.
