Adleigh's Surgery and Happy 2 Year Anniversary!!

Adleigh had surgery this morning to remove a cyst that was around her eye and to fix her tear ducts. Since she was born, she has always had tears in her eyes and people always thought she was upset...she wasn't and after a while we just went with it. Her surgery was a huge success and the cyst had attached to her eyelid instead of the bone so that was good news and her tear ducts were not blocked. Dr. Brock found that instead her poontis(not sure of sp.) did not have an opening so he punctured those on each side and now no more tears falling down her precious face unless of course she is upset!! She is doing great today and is up playing and enjoying herself. She is quite the talker and since she is doing so great all the meds she needs is Baby Tylenol. Her eye is swollen and there are a few blood tears, but other than a black/blue, swollen eye and a little tenderness, she is doing amazing!

Here is Adleigh getting ready for surgery...

Today, we have been married for 2 years!! Of course, we would not have planned to have all the events of today (ads surgery/recovery and our wash machine fixed) but we are all together and enjoying this beautiful warm, sunny day! Lately, we have been reminiscing about the last few years and how much we have enjoyed our lives together. This past February, we had been together for 7 yrs. I was 18 and TR 20 when we met and though I felt that he was the one, I could never have dreamed that we would be so blessed. TR is my best friend and biggest supporter, without him, I would not be who I was, am, and will be. Adleigh is our greatest joy and life before her seems so far gone.

Here is a picture of us before a friend's wedding with Lucky...

This is a picture of us several years ago in Eureka Springs while still in college...

We always enjoyed going to the Square during Christmas and seeing the Lights...

In Eureka Springs again on the night of our engagement. TR actually proposed in the same place as the previous Eureka picture.

Here is a picture of us on our honeymoon at our favorite Italian restaurant in the Sandals Jamaica Whitehouse.
I know I look like I am full term in this picture but I was only 6 mos!! We were so excited then to meet Adleigh!!

This was right before our first Christmas with Adleigh.

And finally, this was this past Easter right before the major storms.

TR- I love you and look forward to 100 more years with you...just kidding kinda!!
